Guardianship
We assist clients seeking guardianships for loved ones and other individuals, and also represent individuals opposing guardianship applications. We frequently represent guardians, wards and potential wards, interested family members and/or friends.
The Firm also represents court appointed guardians in all aspects of guardianship proceedings including preparing inventories and accountings.
We are also occasionally appointed by courts to serve in an attorney ad litem or guardian ad litem capacity.
We can help you regarding difficult incapacity, temporary guardianship, guardianship, and involuntary commitment issues, and also advise if there are less restrictive or burdensome alternatives that fit the circumstances or with guardianship-alternatives to assist individuals through supports and services.
