Stillwell Earl and Apostolakis is different from other law firms in that we’re a small town firm with downtown experience. I helped start this firm to do all things Wills Estates trusts probate and guardianship for our clients and then over the years we added additional practices to meet the needs of the people here in the Woodlands but also to Houston and Beyond so we added real estate we do matters relating to corporations to small businesses and then we also have a very strong and vibrant civil litigation practice.
When hiring a lawyer it is very important to look for an attorney who actually practices in the area that you’re looking for. Many attorneys are kind of the Jack of all trades and unfortunately that doesn’t always work, especially in some of the specialized areas such as probate and estate planning, If those attorneys don’t spend a majority of the time of their practice in those areas it can be difficult sometimes when they don’t know the little nuances of a probate matter or Estate Planning and ultimately that can cause problems on the back end of things for clients.
Mission arises from our desire to help clients the very first thing I noticed doing wills and probate work 25 years ago was that most people arrived to see me with mistakes in hand. They had no idea the consequences that were awaiting them in Probate and I had to give bad news so for the last 25 years my mission has been don’t give clients bad news. Prepare them for what they need to be prepared for.
